Work Readiness/Internships
Our Work Readiness and Internship programming prepares youth for future careers by building essential professional skills, exposure, and real-world experience. We offer structured internship opportunities through Right Track during the spring and summer, connecting students to paid positions that develop workplace readiness, responsibility, and confidence. In addition, we partner with the Minnesota Training Partnership to provide a Long-Term Care Foundations course, introducing students to careers in healthcare and equipping them with foundational knowledge and skills for this growing field. Through these opportunities, youth gain hands-on experience, explore career pathways, and build a strong foundation for their future.
Long-Term Care Foundations
In partnership with Minnesota Training Partnership (MTP), Urban Village is offering a free, short-term training program designed to equip you with the skills needed entry-level union jobs in residential care homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.
