Join the Urban Village team and other outdoor organizations as we launch our new program for Knyaw and Karenni youth, "The Urban Village Outdoors". You'll meet with other outdoor organizations, learn about our upcoming outdoor events, eat delicious Karen and Karenni food, and win prizes! Join us!

About the event
We are excited to announce a new program offering at The Urban Village that we're calling "Urban Village Outdoors". The objective of this new program is to create/deepen opportunities for Knyaw and Karenni youth to get outdoors and engage in outdoor activities. This event will take place at The Urban Village, our Knyaw and Karenni community center. Our team will provide delicious Knyaw and Karenni foods while also running the flow of the evening as follows...
6:00/6:15 - Partner businesses/orgs arrive and set up tables
6:30 - Welcome from The Urban Village Staff
6:35 - Food is served and Karen and Karenni folks will get an opportunity to flow between tables.
7:00/7:15 - Programming will start with a video from Eh Ler Tha.
7:30 - Introduction to The Urban Village Outdoors
7:45 - Reading my My Little Legs by Remona Htoo
8:00 - Prize raffle for attendees
8:15 - Mingle
8:30 - Clean up
